The former public hospital "Irina" (built at the end of nineteenth century), today the Museum ethnography and history and crafts centre
Opened in 2003, the museum is structured on two levels and hosts over 1100 pieces. At the ground floor are exposed objects, documents and photographs which present the history of the area. At the first floor, the space hosts an ethnographic exhibition and cult objects specific to Maramureşului. Along with the Crafts Centre, the two objectives offer an outlook on the traditions and customs of the area.
